True the Rudd Government went to the election with a clear broadband policy, at a mandated expense of $4.7 billion not $43+ billion..
The difference in expenditure is so pronounced that it requires another mandate at the next election and I bet that they would not get it..
That money is better used to secure our water problems, because without water, we will not be around to use this "new beaut" broadband network..
Firstly, no fresh water to drink, secondly, no fresh food to eat..
