ST'ers

I have spent some of the day going over my last 3 trades from last week all of which I took a small loss on. I look at those stocks today and if I had of hung on I would be a avg of 27% in the green and still holding . Appears my stop/loss was too tight for one and I bailed too quickly on the other 2 as I " thought " I seen the momentum shifting ......it wasnt !

So can anyone offer some advice I am a relative novice when it comes to TA and am basically using MACD ,Volatility, exp MA trend lines and supp/resistance levels to make my decisions at the moment . Is it simply too tight a S/L I have in my mind or lack of understanding the finer TA candlestick meanings .

Frustrated ....bartender a drink !
