i used to have shares in this dog, so i might have a bit of residual interest in the stock. i just had a quick look at the last quarterly, and it seems that to stay afloat, they have borrowed about $2m, for the year (including $366,000 in the last quarter. without having a look at any balance sheet, and really jsut having a bit of a guess, but i would guess, that these borrowings have been made against any interest (indirect, or direct), that the company might have in nmc. mmmm, a report released to the exchange, reveals that the company seem to think that the shares were trading at about 1/3rd of the net asset position - as revealed in the latest accounts. once again, i should look at those accounts, but then again, i only have a residual interest in the stock, but one wonders to what extend they have capitalized expenditure, to arive at the net asset position. capitalized expenditure, does not help much when the creditors are knocking at the door. ah well, one can only live in hope - i wish you all the best in your investment

i also noted that the those accountants, that i mentioned, are still associated with the company - so i suppose they might be the ones doing the annual report - so they would be in a good position to know. if anybody has phoned the accountants, please post their reply
