My father was of his time rather than ahead of it. A country boy, after graduation he joined and worked his way up in the one company until the 1980s and changing views of the bilateral work contract caught up with him and restructuring by the American parent company saw the Oz management redundant. He took his redundancy in company shares in 1987. The crash and his subsequent panic selling saw his dreams of early retirement damaged, Struggled to find work at his age, Developed cancer and died soon after at 52. Maybe I have taken the wrong lessons from this but imo the time to sell if you were going to was a fair while ago when savvy heads like Malaga where advising same not now when the animal spirits are rampant.
