I was told years ago by a friend . Smart but not in ways most people see as being smart and he said they will never bring India online till China is exhausted ?
It was low commodity prices at the time and before the boom .It was close to 2001 i think ?
He was in mining had been all his life pretty well and still is now although have not had contact for years. He would be close to retire i guess.
