I'm in a position where I want to start doing more trading, in particular short to medium term (no day trading). I was wondering if the experienced traders here could tell me what tools/data sources are typically used. I already own a copy of AmiBroker and (old) Metastock and would like to keep that as part of my arsenal, but I'm open to suggestions. I'll initially be paper trading only so a system that can handle that with real-time data will be great.
