I maintain very similar position sizings - its basically 2%/5%/10% rule
Core holdings = 5% to 10% per stock
Non-core (but still high quality ) = 2% to 5% per stock
Speculative (low quality - no earnings) = less than 2% (often less than 1%)
Keeping within these limits forces me to sell / take profits as stocks re-rate
Ultimately, i like to see stocks, over time, move from being speculative, to non core, to core holdings as they mature; have greater visbility around their earnings; and they become more investment grade
