I think, from memory, you said you lived in Surrey, catch the train into London and go to either Regents, Hyde Park, or Hampstead Heath, and just walk. Couple of nice little pubs around Hampstead Heath, have lunch there. Some nice walks by the Thames, The Strand is really easy to get to. Some of the boats have been turned into pubs. Rick, I'm not rich, far from it, believe me, but I have learnt, the hard way, to take every opportunity and follow my heart's desire. We are only here once.
