I learnt a very valuable lesson a long time ago. New to HC and shares and so eager to learn. There was a meeting for HC in Perth I attended. One of the "hearts" who was there offered to teach and help me. After about the 4th meet, he suggested I buy a certain share, so I did, then I noticed he was selling his holding. The lowest of the low. It was payback time when I became a moderator on here, I watched him like a hawk, and every time I saw him go into his ramp spiel, I would moderate his post. I knew exactly what he was up to, he'd done it to me, siting right next to him. Ask questions, listen, read, check company, directors, financials, location etc. That lesson I have never forgotten. Just because someone has a "heart" doesn't mean they are trustworthy.
