some of the threads in here are viewed by more people than would make up the entire register of some companies.
how can a stock with threads consistently showing upwards of 10,000 readers, with in some cases as many as 40,000 readers, be inconsequential? does not compute.

the market is just energy in flux. it has no central driving mechanism, it is the sum of its parts.
sometimes hotcopper follows smoke, sometimes it is actually the spark that starts the fire.
