Are you factoring CAN’s connection to Aurora into your assessment? Aurora have already sent their genetic bank and once it passes quarantine Cann Group will be years ahead of any other Australian cannabis play in terms of product variety and quality. Aurora have both vertical and horizontal integration on a global scale and hold 22.9% of CAN with a strong probability of eventually taking over completely depending how the Australian market develops. CAN’s facility is being designed and constructed by a fully owned subsidiary of Aurora. Aurora is also involved in distribution in both Canada and Europe through other fully-owned subsidiaries, and has a suite of other useful strategic holdings.
You also have to compare management. Can QBL maximise the value of their new assets? Do you think they match CAN in product, production and market knowledge at this stage?
QBL is definitely interesting and could see strong growth over the next 6-12 months, but CAN is the better company and far more valuable/safe in my opinion.
