I've had a quick look at Tiger Trades and they are a regular broker where you buy and sell actual shares, ETFs and options. When you buy from them you actually own the stock. They don't offer CFDs.
CFDs are different. They stand for Contract For Difference. It's like buying shares, but you don't own any of the shares you buy, but can still make money on the difference between the buy price and sell price. If you make a loss you have to pay that difference. This is how the CFD providers such as CMC are able to provide leverage. Wrighty64 mentioned 4x, which means if you have $2000 you can buy $8000 worth of shares, commodities or forex. It's important to practice like Wrighty mentions with a demo account before using real money.
