One for the curious and the oldies, that is, those old enough to recall that when you bought shares you got a paper certificate.
I've been a collector of old mining share certificates for over 30 years, luckily, a collection that doesn't take up much space and provides an interesting window into our mining history.
The certificate below is for the Wild Cherry Tin Mining Co, dated 1913 and mined tin at Ardlethan, mid west NSW. Not my oldest piece but one of the earliest entries to my collection .
