Hi Banjo, your original question was keeping track of and screening for stocks.
I have a few decades of ticker codes in lists that get moved around..used to be in a journal now both in hard copy and in a dozen trading view watch lists...
My first watch list is sectors and Indexes...
I list by sector... so fav Uranium stocks to trade, Bio, tech, gold or copper etc. ( then you have all those names to hand when a sector is running hot )
Then I have different watch lists for the different set ups...
so A set up..that's tickers trending up on both weekly and daily..
B set up trend up but pulling back
C change of trend.. then D E Fetc..
    One is rounding bottoms..
As I physically screen through each ticker ( after it's mentioned here by Ammie for example or in the tips section) I file it away in its own list..according to where it's at.

Sometimes they sit there for a decade doing nothing...

Market Index has a great scanner for golden cross RSI oversold, MACD cross etc..
