Fundamentals.... At some level there is no such thing. The underlying psychology of us humans is we have this intense urge to be in control. To that end the never ending search for the "answer" goes on. Technical analysis and fundamental analysis are the 2 sides of the same coin... the coin of control (mastery, the success formula). It is all about risk and how much you can tolerate before your fear takes over. There are a few guard rails (like discriminating fraud from opportunity) but we are small fish swimming in a vast ocean of things which are hungry. Take for example AVZ... on purely fundamental grounds how could you go wrong? World's biggest lithium deposit (an absolute freak) .... but .... I have discovered the greatest benefit of playing in the market is it forces me to try to see reality as it actually is. To not assume anything.

Yes- location plays a large part in my decisions. So what did I do a few weeks back, buy some ADT, in my superfund as a long term hold, its located in Bosnia. Totally out of left field for me. I like the deposit and the management team.
