in Juneau a young man, about 25 years old informed me that he was thinking of going to Aus for the weekend. Up there with the American woman who informed one and all that this little island was completely surrounded by water. The mountains, lakes, glaciers, rocky mountaineer, Banff and Jasper national parks, bear cubs, moose, elks, deer, eagles, squirrels etc. in Banff an elk just decided to take a little walk through the main street. In Juneau, the first Nations people were having their biannual get together. About a 1000 off them, all in their regalia. The 45mins sea plane flight over Vancouver was amazing. Victoria on Vancouver Island, a beautiful city. Montreal and Quebec, very French. Took the train from Montreal to Quebec, about an hr train journey through the country side. Spent 9 days in each. Loved every minute of it. If you ever get the chance to go, Just GO.
