I have opening quotes etc etc i use when breaking the ice in conversation .
We have many travellers young old we come across being a tourist area .
I used to ask where you come from .
Now i ask where dose mum and dad come from .
I get a much better and quired look from them when i do as versus asking where they are from .
And i often get straight up mums from here dads from here different countries and .
Its works with our country also .
