Very true. On the island of Korcula, took the local ferry around the island, and went exploring at every stop. Came across a local cafe, no menu, was told that whatever they were cooking, that was what was to eat. Sardines, I cleaned the plate with the home baked bread just out of the oven. When the crowds turn left, I turn right.
