Researching a stock....briefly...

First port of call....AR for the T20...who are the main players/ dealmakers.( by the way, this is when hunting shells)
Then the basics....structure and cash/ liabilities.
Next, shareholder movements, such as entry of a substantial holder or removal of an overhang.
Most research from announcements such as quarterlies. Additional research will be detective work on any new players unknown to me, to work out the motives.
It can stop there, resulting in buying, or running away....or, an initial buy whilst digging deeper into the names, which, for shells is the main area of interest to me.
