Been in the market for quite a while, that old saying markets are all about learning not 'what to do' but what 'not to do'.
Like all things in life must serve your apprenticeship, find your niche and run with it.
To me the market more about strategy than stocks, a strategy for short term trades (income) and capital accumulation (long term holds) and more importantly portfolio management. (don't discount boring ETF's.)
Hound & I spent couple of days with a carer friend down here during the week, she has a few wombat juniors whose mums killed by cars and is tending them for release into the wild, brilliant things but they play hard, keep on headbutting the hound in play, ok if your another wombat but the hound took a pounding, hound bit of a wombat himself, all head no legs but no match for the real thing, absolute bulldozers.
