To be honest the reason why I brought up this discussion topic is because I'm the worst at tracking my expenses. It's usually more of a case at tax time of "Oh yeah I paid for computer repair, where is that receipt?". So I want to be more diligent and organised when it comes to this stuff.

ATO has an app that you key in deductions throughout the FY and will automatically populate in your tax return (helpful if you do your own tax like me).
