Lot of pelicans west of the divide as the parched inland wetlands are full (or quickly filling) with water. Explosion of minute life and the pelicans are cleaning up.
A classic long term strategic FA trade? How do they (the pelicans) know to down tools on the coast and fly inland for future profit?
BH, hound & I been watching them with intrigue as they land and take off from the wetlands out here, if the lorikeets are the F35's of the oz avian world the pelicans must be the B52's, the crew needs a long runaway to get airborne, see vid below.
Notice in the beginning of the vid how they seem to 'walk on water' in that transition period before gaining flight & wings become dominant in their momentum, a 'god like' behaviour?
The garage at home has a little estuary beach down thru the bush and sometimes there are 2 pelicans there, Daughter has named them Mervin & Daphene, been around for many a summer, BH, Hound, Eck & I sometimes take a picnic basket down there and watch the comings and goings of the estuary late in the day, a favourite place so to speak, Eck also has some good foraging ground down there.
We sometimes feed the 2 pelicans fish scraps out of the basket, considering offering Merv & Daph an FA slot in the garage's trading team in exchange for an ongoing supply of scraps, this undefined long term FA intelligence could be a winner if applied to the ASX, let alone the little bioverse retail team going into any given open with a 'god on our side' complex.
Good - GNP,GDG,BGL & a BTC etf.
Bad - seem to have too much money going sideways atm while everyone else seems to be cleaning up.
Told the boys in the garage if we offer the pellies an FA slot in the garage the human component would be further diluted, they didn't seem to understand my concern, general consensus from the lads (especially Frank) was I should consider myself lucky with my computer 'off' 'on' abilities and leave it at that, don't push it.
