About 9 months later got a call from m/c telling me that someone had attempted to hack my account. I contacted my bank, yes it was true, during the night entries started appearing from all over the world, which they had stopped, and my card was cancelled. I hadn't used that card since Thailand and it had been stored in my safe. They waited all that time to try and hack it. If you get a call or email, don't open it, verify independently by contacting the institution. A few years ago, spent nearly $200 on buying a safepac bag, with all the bells and whistles. Always use it on my travels. Money well spent.
