Spent last few days mentally fondling a large position in BBUS, in the end didn’t take the position, gees that’s going to be a source of mental angst on Monday, something to look forward to.
Travelling? BH, hound & I awaiting ‘buy’ signal from the BOM to go ‘long’ lake eyre. All that water dumped in outback QLD making it’s slow sojourn to OZ’s great inland sea, apparently it takes about 2 or 3 weeks. I’m sure the concept boring to many here but for those that have witnessed it an event to be savored I’m told. Only happens once every blue moon and the trio of a certain age where the ‘blueys’ are becoming finite. We tend to meander at a slow place in the RV, so will take us about 6 days to get there, the crew lives by the philosophy the journey dominates the destination.
Hound loves his RV trips (surprisingly so does the BH) they are out there now working as a team readying the noble steed for departure, BH last night inked out itinerary which avoids Victoria, after the week the markets dished out and resultant fragile minds you really wouldn’t want to subject that fragility to Victoria's mindset for a myriad of obvious reasons.
Heart goes out to the QLD farmers but the opportunity to witness one of nature's great natural regenerations with the great Australian artesian basin getting a good drink only happens 2 or 3 times in a lifetime, they reckon this one is for the ages, it's been happening since god was a little snotter.
Hound a being of the blue sky perimeter, a treat awaits the little bloke.
View from the RV as the crew heads west below, up and over the great divide and beyond, hound & I noticed some of the local pelican flocks taking off in a southwest direction this morning, the garage eager to be among their number,
