These are all unknowns, and one can only speculate, but tipically as is the human condition to fear the unknown - we always assume the worst.
I personally can't say say what he did is right or wrong, as I don't know his personal circumstancesare - which could be a lot worse than what people may think. However, an indicator of a marital issue, would be if other holdings in other companies under the same arrangement are sold in the same manner. I haven't looked, but could be worth a gander.
