You gotta be kidding yourself. The assault on one Lib staffer by another Lib staffer may have played a part but Morrison and his band of crooks had done more than enough to persuade voters that they deserved the boot. Stop looking for a scapegoat and don't delude yourself that a payout signed off by Morrison to try to keep Higgins quiet is going to be occupying the minds of the NACC when they have way bigger fish to fry.
