I agree about the false economy of trying to low-buck it with a converted mineral rig / service rig which apart from anything else must be depth limited .
Didn't Petrel issue an announcement where they said they had ordered down-hole mud motors to power the drill bit ?
If so and they were driving the bit hydraulically , why would they be twisting the drill stem at all ?
