If I was a manipulative institution looking to drive the IOF SP up as hard and as quickly as possible to get it to a higher level where I could prop and dump, I would be a very aggressive bidder on a closing or opening auction and completely overpower the sell side to get the maximum move for the minimum spend.

I am not sure they are game to try that yet as there have been a few 500k crosses below vwap in the late afternoon.
