i suspect FMG are going to snatch an iron out of the fire. at leat for the ST. not sure if this will provide stability that ARI is looking for though. if people are genuinely concerned about ARI's position then FMG kicking the can down the road wont necessarily help them feel better about ARI. Far better for ARI to come out and AGAIN declare no need for CR, and if they can get further endorsement from their lenders then all the better. comment on head room, and projected headroom re covenants would also be very welcome.
right now sentiment stinks, and so seems ripe for price rebound if they can issue the news needed to reverse this sentiment.
