Did you pay your debt off once you get back home or were you lost in the system and never paid it back?
Not sure about this, whether Labor forgave HEC's debts at one stage(?)
Some action needs to be taken to reduce the non-recoverable 25% debt. Maybe, make sure that they payoff most of their debt before leaving the country.

Anyhow, there are too many Uni students and crappie degree's that should flow down into TAFE or Secondary school without having HEC's financial support.

If there is some form of discouragement from doing these crappie degree's, more funding would available for worthwhile degrees.

It wouldn't surprise me that most of the Uni protesters are doing Argie-fartie degrees.
