'The Hanwha Redback is competing against the Lynx from German company Rheinmetall, and on paper at least there doesn't appear to be a clear favourite.

It would seem a safe bet that Mr Pearce and Tasmanian Liberal colleagues have been making that point clear in Canberra.

The outcome could well play a part in deciding the seat.'
