Agree MrPeaman. But auditors are sued every other day for negligence. We would never have seen Enron, Worldcom or HIH if audit reports were an iron clad guarantee.

I am not casting any doubt on the capability or competence of PKF and without evidence to the contrary, have to believe that PKF have undertaken due diligence on the company's accounts. If they have slipped up and that is a very big IF, PKF would be in as much deep sh1t as NBS.

I take some comfort that it is PKF who have audited NBS and not some obscure accounting firm on Pitt Street operating out of a single room office.
