It's a great result but it's not a cure.
It is a costly medication that can be used in the ICU setting for severe complications of COVID as ARDS. In fact, not only complications of COVID but pneumonia burns etc.
If the results are accurate, it will be a great addition to the potential vaccination or antiviral, but won't replace it.
The medical world is skeptical as so far none of the companies were able to develop an effective stem cell therapy.
It is promising but needs more patient involvement in treatment.
Again it's supportive treatment, not a cure.
