Alright I'm sick of not knowing the answer to this and despite the possible embarrassment of asking, I have to find out.
What are the trade packets of 76, 90, 89, for example, in today's (and most days) course of sales. They are too low to be manipulation. They are too stupid to be retail trades. And they aren't partial executions.
So what are they? Why do they happen?
Thanks and sorry for being dumb. I've honestly searched high and low on my own for an answer but can't figure it out. It's even stumped the financial forums of Reddit.
