Said it before, say it again. QATAR HAS ZERO INCOME TAX !

..... because they are massive gas exporters and use that profit to improve the lives and finances of their citizens. BUT NOT US.... we prefer to allow multinationals to export and profit from all our gas whilst us Australians (who own that gas) run out and pay a premium for it.

You can't call those leading our country stupid however, it is not un-planned or accidental. This is their system working exactly as they want it to for their benefit. The stupid ones are those who would defend that system every day on a stock market forum.

and oh yes.... we now export much more gas than QATAR
