Gimo thanks for sharing your knowledge here. I had previously wondered how the funds prevent inflation in the indexes in which they are invested and this helps to show me that they may probably have many tools at their disposal.
Otherwise you'd end with the ASX200 or ASX100 trending up over time away from the ASX201 -> ASX999+ for no reason other than their position.
