Yep , a lot of shorts left to close.
Feb 12th (day before SE) 98m short positions
Oct 4th. 194m shorts
Thay means at least nearly 100m new shorts at low 20s or sub 20c. Most would be put of pocket at 23c already.
The shorts that did really well this year were the 20 million new shorts taken out the week before SE crash from Feb 1st, when shorts were only at 75m.
What if short sell info had to be "live"? How would this affect the markets? Or is it but not to us?
