I don't think a few extra cents is going to make an iota of difference. This is going the same was as NWE. The Hauser, Ferndinando and Khone will accept a very low ball offer for the simple reason that they get there performance rights vested automatically in a change of control event. 13.75m (minus a small amount vested) performance rights worth around $3.5m worth in STX shares and they get to keep a share of of Mongolia with the rights vested. Very likely Mongolia project will be sold back to TMK for peanuts and we may get a few cents special dividend. The entire 'here is a bid, opps now its withdrawn' is all a game. They will come back in a few days and management will start the charade of how good a deal it is.
