APG have around 700mil listed shares. 2.3 (approx) have turned over today. This is no reflection on APG. Obviously the % drop is not going to be consistent across all stocks. Who knows the circumstances of the people selling. What's happening today to APG and practically every other stock on the ASX has nothing to do with the intrinsic value of stocks or their prospects for the future. What's happening on the market now is irrelevant to the future value of APG. Unless people start to doubt the prospects of APG or they simply can not hold for personal reasons then we should all sit back and wait for this carnage to pass. Now maybe world markets are going to fall in a heap and nobody will be making money on their investments for who knows how long. That's another story altogether.
