That makes sense to me. Ive spent a couple of months in China, and as we all know, the pollution problem is real and there is increasing pressure to reduce coal burning.
From memory, VC sell 120 mtpa to China, and the initial ESI deal is 1 mtpa. So the VC ESI relationship has enormous room to move.

Unfortunately, the $ comes first, and the environment second worldwide.
But I can imagine " Chinese end users " getting excited with this win/win situation.
Kos must have pinpointed Feb 27 for a reason, so we can only assume VC jv will happen prior.
Feb 27 will be pointless without a VC jv ?
