    it really makes you wonder what would have happened if no "global intervention" had occurred.

    I reckon that the markets would have collapsed as now , the weak flushed out and collapse but the recovery path would be swifter. Without wasting taxpayers funds.

    Let the markets equilibrate. For every seller there will be a buyer at the right level.
