not just gas/oil prices, but natural gas is also becoming a hot global commodity as they both compete somewhat to provide similar services.
The graph on the left showing imports vs capacity is interesting. Obviously it can be interpreted several ways, but I think it is a result of increasing gas prices reducing the affordability of the once also abundant world natural gas reserves.
