Mate, what is with the name calling?

I don't see cgt or Portable referring to you by a negative nickname or calling you an idiot, so not sure why you are doing this (I am wondering if I am stupido from one of your previous posts, if so please enlighten me!)

Also due to myself/Portable/cgt being bullish on Biota means we are proxies for PC? Well I can tell you I have no affiliation with Biota other than being a shareholder but I wouldn't mind being on Biota's payroll :)

It is good to have both viewpoints. The current sentiment is very negative on these threads with good reason (SP and PC).

Just as I was hanging my hat on HRV, may have to rely on Jim Fox to get some value for Biota.

In regards to oilburner (and dinkum), just because you are sitting on a capital loss and want to buy more shares does not mean you are an idiot or with management.

I'm not sure what price East Hill paid for their shares but they may be sitting on a larger capital loss than you are. Does that mean that them buying more means they are idiots?

It could mean for example that they see value where most of the herd do not and thus will average down as they believe long-term the SP will be much higher.

What does Warren Buffett say, something along the lines of 'be greedy when others are fearful and fearful when others are greedy.' This seems to be quite apt at the moment in regards to Biota.

Obviously it can be argued both for and against in regards to investing in Biota but would like to point out that it is not all doom and gloom as evidenced by East Hill's increase in shareholding which really can only be a good thing in my mind. IMO they are at a level which shouldn't deter potential bidders from making a play.
