In his address at the AGM Kennedy did mention that there were several companies looking to buy FMS but due to confidentiality constraints he could not say how many. GS also let slip a value of the shares to which Kennedy quickly interrupted and remarked that if that was correct we would be all lying under a palm tree then quickly (after a prompt from someone in the audience) added along with the share holders. Now with hindsight that was a clue as to where they were headed
GS told me after the meeting that the port was not a problem as they had had meetings and a space was reserved for them at Ankertel, rail was just a matter of who so the hard work has been done.
To add to all the conspiracy theories can this be payback because we didnt support them with FEX which is evidently operating as a private company. These guys have history of spinning off and this is a form of a spinoff considering they all keep their jobs and no doubt will be issued with a "truck load" of russian shares.
