Once again, CNQ refers to "a number of sublease condition issues" which is lingo for: The lease owner considers CNQ in breach of such sublease conditions. That could allow him to outright terminate the sublease contract which would leave CNQ holding the bags.

As I had said before, Geoff had rejected an offer valued at $13M. That might provide you with an indication of what a purchase of the quarry will cost. It is totally out of CNQ's league.

This is certainly correct. How could anybody - other than the spinmaster - arrive at any other conclusion? They agreed to appoint lawyers. And no agreement has been reached ever since. Fact.
