SMX SUBMITTED TO DEPARTMENT OF DEFENCE
Synergy Equities Group Limited (“SYNERGY”, ASX : SYG) advises that, in accordance with SYNERGY’s latest
investor presentation (the ASX announcement of 14 Aug 08 refers), its wholly owned subsidiary Data-inCrypt® Pty Ltd
(“Data-inCrypt®”) has reached a milestone by completing the submission of SMX secure registered email
(CertifiedMail) for evaluation by the Australian Department of Defence (www.defence.gov.au).
Data-inCrypt® has submitted a written proposal and supporting documentation to the Defence Materiel Organisation
(DMO) (www.defence.gov.au/dmo), which will now evaluate SMX for potential use within the Australian Defence
Force. DMO is Australia’s largest project management organisation - in the 2008-09 financial year it will spend more
than AUD$9.6 billion acquiring and sustaining military equipment and services, and employ in excess of 7,500 people
in more than 40 locations around Australia and overseas.
