subscriber numbers

Opportunity for some to put their money where there mouth is!

Have a crack (personal opinion) on subs numbers in the next Quarterly.

At the end of last Qtr, there were:

- Paying: 98,379
- Trial: 11,199
- TOTAL: 109,938

I'm going for a moderate increase in PAYING (due to the length of current trial offers) to 101,000 but a sharp increase in TRIAL customers up to 20,000 for a TOTAL of 121,000 active customers.

Reason for the sharp increase in trial customers is due to the recent announcements around TiVo, PS4, Xbox (expected before the end of the year), gift card offer and seasonal impact. The offer of a free new release PPV is the hook to engage consumers with taking up their free trial. Big test will be the conversion ratio of these in to payers next year.
