    I've had the Engin VOIP on for about 18 months. Never felt the need to try anyone else as I've had only a few teething problems early on with the hardware setup. All these are now fixed in the hardware so are no longer an issue.

    Call quality is the same as PSTN, only difference is they introduce a quiet static noise apparantly to make it sound more like a phone than a two way radio or something ?! Apparantly in early trials the absolute silence between the speech was offputting for the trialees !! Anyway, I digress.

    This is an interesting developing thread at whirlpool and there are many other useful informative posts about VOIP and Engin over there too;

    In short, I have no complaints about Engin, I'm on Hellstra cable and can surf/torrent download and talk at the same time with no issues.

    Oh, and my bill is down from $75-100 to always UNDER $20 !! ( plus 18.95 for the fixed line which I may dump soon)
