What is the maximum time frame allowed by the ASX and ASIC for a Substantial Holder Announcement?
Today's announcement that Blackrock became a substantial Holder of 5.27% of the company's stock effective between 8/8/2010 and 7/12/2010 is way beyond what is allowed under the rules, for such an announcement.
I for one would like an explanation from the company as to why shareholders have been kept in the dark for 7.5 months on such an important by-in by Blackrock, worth $18,893,922.
