Deansy it is my understanding that 10,000ppm equals 1%(base metals),if you are looking at stream samples or soil samples unless you are seeing in excess of 800 ppm I wouldn't get excited .To give you an example EMG at Diamond Well have 10,000 ppm,Pb 10,000ppm Zn and 880ppm Cu +20+gm/t Ag at surface! ....that excited me
